American Tree Farms, we are planting and sustainably growing for harvest, for
profit, many of the finest, most
beautiful tropical hardwood species in the world on our tropical hardwood tree farms in Costa
Rica.
Since 1991 we have planted and
are growing for harvest more than 2 million precious tropical
hardwood trees of more than fifty different beautiful, exotic species.
You too can enjoy this unique
and profitable opportunity!
In addition to the trees we are growing for our
own account, we are growing the seventeen most well known of these precious tropical
hardwoods by
contract for hundreds of enthusiastic tree owners - individuals, IRA's, companies, and trusts.
You can choose which species of precious tropical hardwood trees you would
like to own, and we do all the rest.
We will plant your trees on our tree farms and
care for them exactly as we do our own, in the same professional manner, and with the same
skilled personnel.
And each several years, as directed by our
foresters, we will oversee the thinning and harvest of a portion of your trees and the
processing of your logs into marketable lumber. You may choose to keep the lumber
from your trees, or have us market your hardwoods for you and send you the proceeds.
The trees and the lumber from them are yours to do with as you choose.
