At
Harvest Time
Prior to harvesting any of your
trees, we will send you a written report of our foresters' recommendations of the number
of your trees to be harvested and the timing of the harvest.
At harvest time, we will oversee
the harvest of your trees and the milling of your logs into lumber.
You may choose to keep the
lumber from your trees for your own use, sell it yourself, or have us market your
hardwoods for you, using our best efforts to obtain the highest prices for you, whether on
the local or international market.
After each harvest, we will send
you a precise accounting of the number of your trees harvested, the quantity of hardwood
produced from the harvest, and the actual costs incurred in the harvest and processing of
your trees.
If you choose to have us sell
your hardwoods for you, we will promptly remit your net proceeds from each harvest exactly
as you specify.
